This forum will contain something that folks have been asking for as long as I have been in the photography industry (over 10 years). Real recorded sales appointments from an in-person projection sale. If you have a video or training session with PreeVu and would like to submit it please use the contact us link and let us know.
This private area is for discussing industry marketing ideas. There are several integrated tools inside of PreeVu that can be used for generating sales beyond the in-person appointment. Here we will discuss ways to increase exposure for your photography business, get clients to commit to bigger sales and make your business standout among the competition. PreeVu users have a distinct advantage on the competition.
The client manager is accessed from the welcome screen and is used for adding clients and organizing the studio's client information. This area is used for setting up client login info for online proofing, client loyalty discounts, and more.
The light tray is accessed from the welcome screen and directly from the client image import area when adding images to collection. The light tray is the central working screen for preparing and doing sales appointments and many other functions in PreeVu.
Home view rooms are accessed from the light tray when doing a sales appointment. The rooms are managed from both the client area and the studio settings area. There are several rooms included (blank scaled walls with custom wall color selector and more) or feel free to enter your client's home view rooms so you can show them to scale wall groupings of framed images or gallery wraps on their walls.
Client invoicing is accessed from several areas of PreeVu. Having access from the order manager, light tray, and home view rooms allows for a simple transition during a sales appointment from showing to getting priced items on a invoice. PreeVu allows for editing of this invoice similar to a "shopping cart" before finalizing which allows the flexibility needed in person to person presentations.
The traditional framing project builder is accessed from the light tray for sales with a client and accessed from the studio settings for setting up pricing, custom sizes and custom layouts. The traditional framing builder allows for building open frames, panel frames with matting and fillets, showing framed images in actual size, quick building for prepping for a sales presentation, and all pricing for frame building with global markups to ensure your markup stays intact (even when building custom projects). Multiple vendors are included with several hundred mouldings and thousands of specialized photography framing designs.
The artistic framing builder is accessed from the light tray for sales with a client. This builder allows your studio to easily integrate these fun-filled frames into your business. Although there are hundreds of thousands of unique combinations available PreeVu has made it simple to design, price and sell with just a few clicks. Both artistic framing and traditional framing can be added in any quantities to any home view rooms.
The client slide show is accessed from the light tray. Settings for the slide show are managed in the studio settings area of PreeVu.
Online proofing is managed from the light tray and a basic version is included at no extra charge with your active PreeVu subscription. You can allow password protected access to your client from a link on your website or email.
The comparison view is accessed from the light tray. It is used for comparing several images, frames or home views on the same screen while allowing zooming-panning, selection of favorites or adding to an order with a few simple clicks.
The image editor is accessed from the light tray. It is used for quick basic editing (cropping, color filters, rotating) to efficiently prepare for a sales presentation.
The print builder is accessed from the light tray, comparison viewer and invoice editor screens. Setting up print options and pricing is done in the studio settings area. Unlimited print sizes, print options and finishes all connected to pricing are available. You can get going quickly with a basic structure included in PreeVu or we can teach you all the intricacies and setup a totally customized print structure. Your print pricing and options are even carried over to your framed projects to ensure all around pricing is correct for your client invoices.
Studio settings are accessed from the welcome screen. The studio settings area is where visibility of products, pricing of products, management of data, studio contact information is kept. It is the core for the business side of PreeVu and your studio. Whenever changes are made in this area of the program be sure to close and open PreeVu for them to take affect. In PreeVu many things are controlled graphically in front of the client but those changes affect real information (such as pricing, availability, etc.) connected by studio settings in the background. This is core difference in the presentation portion of PreeVu from many other presentation platforms.
The synchronizer is accessed from the welcome screen. The synchronizer keeps all your computers running PreeVu in your studio updated with the same information. Your important studio data is backed up on our robust servers so never worry about losing client data again. The basic PreeVu subscription includes installation on up to three computers you will find having synchronized information is very helpful. Just a few advantages are backing up of information, real-time information availability, remote employee access, and on and on. This cutting edge feature really separates PreeVu from anything on the market today.
Direct ordering is coming shortly. It will be accessed from the order manager on the welcome screen. Functionality will include ordering from labs, frame vendors and more. Tracking general studio workflow will also be included so with a quick view you can check the progress of all studio client orders along with orders out to vendors.
The sheet builder is accessed from the light tray for sales with a client and accessed from the studio settings for building custom "sheets" or "units". The sheet builder allows single images to be used multiple times on a sheet (4-4x5's on an 8x10 sheet). They can all be the same images replicated out or different images. You can use preset sheets or make any size custom sheets with any size or quantity of image holders on those sheets.
The music manager is accessed from the studio settings and client areas. MP3 music is organized into customizable libraries where playback can be setup many ways from random tracks to custom genre's based on each client.
PreeVu's integrated Full-Res Image Preparation tools are simple to use and can be implemented several ways to be suit your studio's digital workflow.
Digital and Insert Album pages can now be designed and represented for your sales presentations with clients. Full export book building is not available yet.
